Our Brand Story

Cantaro Home was born from the idea of giving spaces a significant relevance through decoration. From an early age, Ines Coviello, its founder, understood that there is a permanent flow between objects, decoration, and people. These constantly merge with each other, creating harmony in the spaces we live in.

Cantaro Home is a breath of fresh air and proposes to bring less noise, less speed and only the necessary information to each space. Each product in our selection is intended for people to find a place in their home to be comfortable and calm.

Cantaro is the Spanish word for “pitcher”. The pitcher is an element of extreme nobility since it is where people placed water in ancient times and due to its shape, it was associated with the maternal womb, which is our first refuge.

At Cantaro Home we work constantly so that people can express their wishes into their home and find what they seek and need daily. Our special curation of products is based on the idea of never ceasing to be amazed by different cultures and still, making a permanent impact through simplicity.

About Ines

Ines Coviello is an Argentine interior designer, passionate about creating spaces with a special focus on the sensorial experience.

In 2013, she launched a new décor brand with its own line of furniture designed to measure for each project and decorative items. CANTARO HOME was then created, in the Palermo Soho neighborhood, an exclusive design district of the City of Buenos Aires.

CANTARO HOME was born as a personal expression, a search to return to the roots and the pure state of being. The meaning of the name summarizes the concept of what for her is the origin of everything. A cantaro is a vessel, it is an object prepared for containment. For ancient civilizations and original cultures, it represents the womb, our first shelter, our peace.

For Ines, it is important to reflect this concept in her projects, creating sensorially integral designs, so that the different elements that are part of the space, their textures, colors, shapes, are translated together into a feeling of calm, inner encounter and harmony.

After ten years and a long journey of various projects that she is carrying out with her interior design studio, She decided to take the next step and expand her business worldwide with her own line of decorative products in order to bring her passion to more homes.
